Farah Shaddix, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC
Farah Shaddix is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her mental health career over two decades ago as a compassionate community case worker and worked her way into the role of a patient focused, compassionate, and understanding provider. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University where her emphasis was on mental health. Her training and experience in telehealth, outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings spoke to her core belief that everyone should have access to quality mental health care no matter the situation. She believes in the patient centered approach to mental health care. In her free time, you can find her playing with her many dogs, spending time with her family, or connecting with nature via walking or sightseeing.
Casey Comte, MSN, RN, APRN, NP-C
Casey Comte is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She found her passion for mental health at an early age working as a nursing assistant with elderly patients with various mental health diagnoses. After gaining experience as a registered nurse, she went on to earn her Master of Nursing degree from Maryville University. She has experience treating depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, insomnia, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. She approaches each patient with empathy and understanding and truly believes that everyone should have access to high-quality mental health care. In her free time, you can find her spending time outdoors with her family and chocolate lab, Tug.
